Generally I like it. It seems to a bit of Alias and the Pretender mixed together, with a "What is the nature of identity?" theme supplying some meat to the concept.
I'm not quite bouncing off the walls over the concept (and mildly concerned that the trailer didn't really feature much of the trademark Whedon sense of humor, save for the "It's the happiest day of my life" bit), but then again I wasn't really sold on Firefly until I saw Mal kick someone into his engine. Maybe the same thing will happen here. As it is, I'd be curious enough over the concept I'd probably check it out anyways, and with Whedon's name I'm guaranteed to be there.
