I was going to post a long thing about my grandfather's funeral, but I ended up choosing not to. It's a bit too fresh right now, I just lived it and have had to explain it in bits and pieces several times to friends and co-workers since I went back to work Friday. I found a reasonably priced brown duster on Amazon that should be shipping in a couple weeks. Of course buying clothes online is a bit iffy (color may not match the picture, size might not fit right, etc), so I might take you up on it if the one I get turns into a disaster.

But it's not too bad a costume if I do say so myself. The suspenders are a bit loose, so I'll need to add a hole or two (one-size-fits-all-but-me apparently), but for someone who hasn't dressed up for halloween since high school, I'm fairly pleased. At least from the neck down (goofy look on my face and a fresh hair-cut don't add to the Mal-ness).
