I'm not sure how to present this in the discussion or even if I should, but the dialogue going on right now in a blog I follow about the label of "evil" (mostly in the context of fiction) brought this quote to mind and I wanted to record it somewhere

Basically, Jaster Mereel is supposed to be Boba Fett. It was from Tales of Bounty Hunters. Somehow some writers have managed to bring it back to its start point after George Lucas took a steaming pile of shit on the novels.

That sounds like something Terry Goodkind would write. It's interesting to see it's from Star Wars. I also think I've read it before, in quote form, somewhere.
