I haven't posted in almost a month. This has been a serious month. We have made the final decision to leave Richmond, and have figured out the means to do so. We are going to look for our first home. I've been working a little more than I had been and Nancy has been working also. We've seen less of each other but we're becoming more...excited/ ( Read more... )

funny, i drove back and forth between jersey and va for a few years... it's a fun drive through delaware, and especially if you cross the monstrous chesapeake bay bridge-tunnel!

I like the narrow bridge on 301...one lane traffic each way, no dividers, and those short cement sides...as long as I'm the one driving. My father in law was driving over it once, looking in the backseat and talking to us, swerving, and scaring us to death!

Well we sort of decided that maybe somewhere between Philadelphia, Atlantic City and New York would be good. We just got back and saw some neighborhoods that we like. One in particular is between Philly and NY, another was about halfway between Philly and AC. There was a neighborhood between AC and NY that was an orthodox jew community... anyway the drive was fun and we saw some new sights, it's not much different than VA up there except for the big cities of course.
