It really makes you wonder... aside from all the feelings of sadness and anger at the senseless loss of a friend. I started to think about gun-control laws. Why do we know personally two people in Richmond that have been shot to death. That seems high to me. And it's not like they lived in the ghetto or ran with the wrong crowd. I know that Virginia has pretty lax gun laws. I used to not be in favor of them because of the standard argument, stricter gun laws only take them out the hands of law abiding citizens

I wasn't sure if you'd heard the news. I got the phonecall Friday night from some people who used to work there as well. :( She was such a nice person and I'm sorry to see this happen. I wasn't too close with her, but we rocked out that giftcard thing last year and she was always willing to chat and smile after everything closed and we were cleaning up or walking to our cars

I hope your mother gets the help she needs, and that you are safe. I did hear the news although just yesterday before work. I had a hard time going in, having to do what we used to do together. I wonder what it is like at glenside now. I want to visit and I want to call Douger, to talk about it although I don't know what to say. I'm shocked.
