Things are good: never been better. Still I wonder if I will ever have real-people money. Hey Jason,

Maybe you should consider writing short stories or something and selling them to magazines. A lot of writers started out by doing that (at least science fiction writers).

Or you could do a weekly or monthly column like Uncle Orson Reviews Everything-type deal in some local newspaper.

There's a new book by a young writer Kevin Wilson called "Tunneling to the Center of the Earth". It's full of hilarious, somewhat nonsensical stories, like a company that provides temporary grandparents for families that don't have any. Also there's a story about a guy whose job it is to wade through a giant pile of scrabble tiles at the local Scrabble factory to collect all of the 'q's.

I think you could write stories like that and it would be brilliant.
