I have not felt this way since I was a kid. It is the feeling of anticipation like that that keeps you up on Christmas Eve night even though you know you should be sleeping. I went from sober to drunk and horny in about 2 1/2 hours at the the Boot's happy hour. It was a pleasant drunk, though. The most interesting part of those hours was discussing philosophy and economics with a friend of one on my fraternity brothers. He goes to Duke and is a T.A. there. I seem to have messed up my foot fairly nicely. I wonder if it is broken. It certainly has gotten more purple since I woke up this morning. This what I get for fighting/wrestling with my fraternity brothers. Oh well, I will give it time and see if it heals or not. Now, I need to go to bed for I have work at 8:30 am.

It is odd how I have managed to come to terms with certain aspects of my past. I do love her, but not in the same way as before. Now, it is more of, I guess, a fatherly love. I just wish the best for her and to impart what I have learned ( Read more... )

I was a complete asshole the other day. I think this for various reasons and happenstances of the night. Well, now, I know better.

I am surprised with myself. I was drinking at the Boot, celebrating being finished with my last exam. After a couple beers, I was drunk do to my lack of sleep and little food I had had yesterday. Finding an apartment to rent when you currently living over 2,000 miles away is not easy. If I am lucky enough to find a place with 3 month leases or non at all, their prices are out of my range.
