Last night I was in Mission Valley at the local Borders searching for a new sushi kit & when I brought one to the register, the checkout girl told me of a place in Pacific Beach that is actually a class & they supply all the goods & it's a ton of fun ( Read more... )

there are classes offered in encinitas RIGHT next to my bakery. it's by the author of "sushi for dummies." friday, may 18, 6pm. i don't know where this PB one is. i can ask kitchen witch if they know when i go to work today. :D

haha.. so I was sitting there on the computer & I asked Jean if she thought anyone ever called you Eel for your initials? haha.. and then she said we should call you Moray and then somehow Eel-Face was thrown in.

jason... just a tip from a girl who used to live in vegas... I don't know how you feel about the gambling scene... but if you plan on winning... go to the old strip... the machines are loose because their properties have already been paid for ... you can win so much more plus they'll give you free drinks to go inside a play a game ..... also ... on the old strip there is a "lights and laser show" the whole strip has this "ceiling" (for lack of better term) which they do a light show every hour on the hour" it's something to see .... if you're not in the area... I wouldn't say to really go out of your way but it's interesting to see .... plus all the little "sidewalk" shops are kind of cool .... there's a chick that will put your name on a grain of rice... lol ( ... )
