WINTER BLUES
Not a lot of energy. Lately I need to draw more, trying to get that back on track. My latest I scanned. They say photo it with the biggest file you can get, which is better. I tested this and my camera was a bit better. My scanner really could be better. Much better. I got it out of a Photoshop class and back then this scanner would give you a good scan of things, but as I didn't know, not so much for graphite drawings. Hard to scan graphite! (I have nothing to compare with this, as I have never seen graphite drawings scanned on more dpi then I can get. My simple drawing of a sketchy snowman really didn't make it. I had to edit, and still it looks bad. Bad because it doesn't look fine enough to me, ever. My more involved drawing of a girl portrait really set up better with the scanner. It's not a knock down, but it looks better...even with my fanciful scanning settings. Will try to get them up. Lately I have most of my new stuff at another place. But here. It's been a dull winter. Not much snow and not much cold. The cold I can do without. I haven't gotten outside to my parks all winter. My camera still faithfully works. A waning fall landscape was the last picture on it. A real good one, full of color and brightness. I need to get a brighter overhead light here. I upped my TV channels and I've been watching new stuff! If I say what it is, they will just take it off. That's nice to watch though. Really overdue to get out of here on a looking trip. It is so silent here. Looking forward to spring.

And I really don't know how you will get in to find the first entry. Someone out there would know. It is open to the public. But that is where I am now. My photos and drawings are waiting to find a home - there or somewhere else. I have really loved Live Journal, and hope to come back.
