Okay, when my doctor said he was going to play with his schedule to get me in "soon." He said he didn't want me to wait a whole month before his schedule opened up... I didn't think he meant it this litterly ( Read more... )

Buck up :) If the doctor said it takes more time to prep for surgery than the actual surgery itself, you should be fine. I did my "surgery" for my pre-cancer bs and well, it blew, but I waited 2 1/2 hours for a 1/2 hour procedure that was more of the doctor/nurses gathering their utensils. Granted I was still sore, but it was survivable ^^

But anywho, I think you'll be fine. You'll be sore probably, but I am sure everything will be okay and in the end hopefully you'll be rid of all that swelling. It especially sucks when its a mouth/throat thing. *GLOMP*
