I apparently am just going to post about SketchBattle again.

I continue to fight the good fight against Gay Jokes. For some reason it doesn't seem to be going as well this time.

Also, had the LKJJ interest meeting today. It went fairly well, except that nobody knows Flash. I've got my work cut out for me, but hopefully it will all work out for the best. Go team ARG!

Right, it's pretty big in Kentucky. World Wide it isn't very well known, even if it did get its own Saturday Morning spinoff show on CBS.

We had that in Tennessee. How else would I learn how to make a paper hat or that soap, milk, and pee are all basic?

Fight, creative insults! For everlasting peace!

Nah, seriously, I got the reference. I used to LIVE with newspaper comics when I was a kid. Then I started hitting up internet comics and they evicted me. They don't cotton well to my type, it seems.

Well-fought!

And about not doing well this time out? No worries, really, it looks like they're quite highly tied to the votey site world. Meaning the "best" people there likely have armies of zombies willing to click on a vote button at their whim, regardless of what's actually there.

But looking over this guy's work, you definitely win. Both with the obscure newspaper comic joke and the attack on the guy's limited wit.

But is it enough to overcome his audience? It's a little intimidating, and I've never been any good at popularity contests. Plus I have no real internet audience to speak of. I mean, there's you guys, but you guys aren't an audience. You guys are friends. And that's sweet and touching and all that rubish, but it is not the teeming zombie mass.

I dunno. Maybe I should count the closeness as a victory. Regardless, I'm just going to have to not even acknowledge the gay jokes anymore. I tend to feel bad for attacking art styles, though. Hypocritical, even.

Ah well.

I like to consider myself a teeming zombie mass.

I... really don't understand why you're not winning O.o

You've got him beaten on humour, on art, on, well, everything except maybe mindless zombie audience, but even then I wouldn't expect a win, audience has a mind too! Maybe. Possibly.
