I apologize for my rather long absence, and hope you all have been doing wonderfully well since I've been gone. I've been good. I wasn't at Vegas, but around the same time as that meetup, I met two fandom-made friends,which was great. If you want, I can find the entry. :)

Thanks for the welcome-back. :) How wonderful to hear that you met up with a couple of friends from the fandom - I've always thought that would be fun. I'd love to read the entry you posted relating to that.

I'm sorry for your loss. Sometimes cocooning is the best way to cope.

I didn't get to go to Lumos, but I did have a beautiful baby girl August 2. Aislin was four weeks early but proved very early on that her lungs were in perfect working order and went home from the hospital three days later. I can link you to some pics of her, if you're interested!

I've posted a couple of fics over the summer. Signups for wizard_love started yesterday in case you're in the mood for fic exchanges.

Congrats on your baby! Aislin is a beautiful name, too. I definitely want to see pictures. Bring them on! :)

I'm going to comb through your journal to find the fics you posted, and thanks for the heads-up about wizard_love. I don't know if I'm quite ready for writing again, but it's something to consider.

Yay! Thanks for the hugs - I am so happy to talk to you! You must be insanely busy with grad school, oh my goodness. I'm going to catch up with your journal first thing.

On the dating front: I've been seeing one guy exclusively for the last three and a half months. His name is Kevin, I may have mentioned him in an earlier journal entry. He lives in the greater San Diego county, is working toward his Microsoft certificate, and is a student. I'm pretty happy with him, but I am currently wondering if we're suited for one another in the long run - he can be a little immature at times, and his spirituality isn't quite as strong as mine. I have to remind myself, however, that he is only a 23 year old male, so some immaturity or inexperience is to be expected. I'm going out to his place this weekend, where we will be going to SeaWorld and a Chargers game. So, that's the scoop. Thanks for asking!

Yay for a fun time at Lumos and for library school! What exciting things you have going on in your life. I read your post regarding Lumos and it sounds like a blast and a half. :) I would check out MollieRMS's journal, too, but I'm not listed as her friend. I recall trying to comment once, but she has her comments locked, so I gave up trying to connect. *shrugs* Anyway. I'm glad to be back, thanks for the welcome-back!

So you don't know me but I saw that you're going to library school and I work at a library whilst I finish my senior year of undergrad.
I plan to get my masters for library science. Have any advice for me? Are you enjoying it a lot?

*HUGS* I'm sorry I caused you to worry - it's just that I haven't been thinking clearly about LJ and the internet and the fandom until recently. So, thanks for caring, and sorry if I caused any anxiety.

You moved to BOSTON?! Wow. I need to cruise through your journal and read all about it. I'm also going to head straight for your Lumos commentaries. Written anything lately? If so, definitely point me in the right direction.
