Don't sell your drums. Or maybe you should? Do you not enjoy playing them?
I thought you were a good drummer.... better than some most def. Have you no interest in finding a band to drum for?
I almost sold mine.......... but it was just because I am a hermit and was having a hard time finding people that wanted to play music with me. I'm glad I didn't................... I can't do much else.
i still play drums for Dark Overlords of the Universe. i use Chris' kit though. i'm not going to quit drumming, it's just that i really want to get this amp paid off. it's been sitting at Doc Electro since April or something. my Tama shells would probably bring in enough money to get it fixed. there are a few people in Louisville that have expressed interest in my shells, so i'm thinking it would be quick and easy to get the cash. i'm keeping the hardware though. i think Tama makes the simplest and most rugged hardware around. good stuff. playing drums for another band is inevitable i think. i love drumming. but, i was hoping to get a new kit before i lost my drumming job anyhow. i need BIGGER drums!
i love the last picture of eric looking like young frankenstein. we should hang out sometime and maybe play music. i dunno, i havent been hanging out with a lot of people lately and maybe i need a good change of scenery friends wise. call me sometimes dog.
ps - you and i should start a 2 piece thrash band.
Eric is a maniac!! i love that guy. like, before we even started setting up he was running around drumming on his knees and flipping his drum sticks around and stuff. i could pretty much guess what song he was going over in his head. i've never played with someone so PSYCHED on the music. makes me crazy.
supposedly, i'm playing lead guitar for the Glasspack. i'm not too sure how i feel about this, being that i'm so involved and overwhelmed with Nixon. not that we're real busy, just that i fucking love it so much. Dirty Dave is stoked though, so i'm going to give it a try. what's the harm in playing some music with new people.
that being said, YES we should hang out and make some sound. i don't really wake up until it's too late to do anything productive besides play music, so call me sometime after 6:00 and we'll make some plans.
