Anime (and one manga), again
I had a little time today so I decided to catch up a little bit on my shows.
Cross Game (47-48):
I’ve forgotten how good this series was. If only I had more time, I would have finished the last few episodes in one sitting. And it’s getting so exciting as well~ I’m firstly an Azuma x Kou fan at heart but officially I would have liked it to be Kou x Akane. But seeing how the flow is right now it’s obviously going to be Kou x Aoba. I just… can’t see them together. Let’s see how the ending will be before I decide…
Toriko (6):
Yep. I think watching the anime has slowly made me lean towards Cocoma rather than Torikoma. In the anime it feels like Coco cares more about Komatsu than Toriko! (though I wonder if he was like that in the beginning of the manga) Almost every other sentence Coco says is about Komatsu. It really makes me laugh. Reminds me of the first episode where Coco’s first words when he appeared was “Where’s Komatsu-kun?” (laughs)
[Manga] Toriko (140):
Not anime but still on the topic of Toriko. OMG CHEEESSSEE. Zebra is such a tsundere! I thought I already saw something back when the trio was travelling across the desert but these last few chapters bites the cake! The author revealed that Komatsu and Zebra actually made an agreement with each other before heading into the desert. The requirement for Zebra to help them find the cola was for Komatsu to become Zebra’s partner (combo, ha!) afterwards. Komatsu agrees, but only if Zebra would assist Toriko as much as possible during the trip.
When Komatsu was injured, Zebra screamed a “how dareyou do this to my Komatsu!” /////// so awesome. Isn’t Toriko isn’t that possessive (laughs)
I’m sorta curious how this will go. I mean Komatsu promised Zebra he’ll be his (LOL) but the author can always make Zebra go “meh I’d changed my mind” since it doesn’t seem likely that Toriko would let Komatsu go. However on the other hand Komatsu isn’t the main character so it’ll be the perfect opportunity for the author to either kill him off or make room for a new chef. Komatsu’s adorable! Even though his face isn’t, but I’ve grown to love him all the same.
I think this could be the only show in my entire life that I’ve watched that I approve the protagonist as being a seme (laugh) Cause Komatsu topping Toriko is like whoa.
Ano Hana (1):
I watched this while my mom was in the room and it was a bit uncomfortable, especially since the first 5 minutes had Menma rubbing against Jintan’s crotch. Yep. And I couldn’t have picked a better show like Beyblade or Vanguard to watch in front of my mom (sweat).
But nothing special about this episode. My friend told me she was on the verge of tears but eh. I felt nothing. I should recommend my friend to watch Cross Game then if she wants to see some tears (laughs).
SKET Dance (2):
I might change my mind about this series. I gave it another go when I read on wiki it was one of the top selling manga in Japan after volume 5? Episode 2 was funny. I would give that episode on the humour scale more than Beelzebub but less than Gintama. They break the fourth wall similarly like Gintama too. I sorta had a good snicker when the person from episode one reappeared again with episode two and was conversing with Switch (VA: Shinpachi and Gintoki from Gintama) If episodes can continue to be this funny I might stick to this.
C (3):
Not much to comment on. But it’s okay so far. Meh.
I want to watch T&B dammit! But I think I should wait bit a tinnnnny bit longer for Commie to release ep 7 so I can watch them together. Ah, imagine the luxury.
