It's been so long since I've seen Ranmaru and Naoyoshi together in a frame that I just immediately went crazy at the sight.
I never realized Ranmaru actually spoke so FORMALLY to Naoyoshi. Course, I figured it was just polite speech but this is almost like I-worship-you-under-my-feet way (laughs). Just sorta makes you think just what exactly the two do in that empty room. Waiting for Gama to arrive? And it was always nice to see Ranmaru talking about himself, even though I pretty much figured out his background from the past 150 chapters or so. THEN THIS:

DUN DUN DUN. OMG NAOYOSHI IS GONNA BE KIDNAPPED AGAIN?! THIS IS THE LEAST PLOT DRIVEN STORY I'VE EVER READ. BUT I STILL LOVE IT FOR THE MARTIAL ARTS.
Then again it could really go both ways. The Bakufu could either kidnap Naoyoshi or kill him. It'll be so sad though to have Gama just steps in front of Naoyoshi only to have him wrench away from his grasp again. If I was Gama I'll be "Aw fuck it, I'm going to find another lover friend" (laughs).
I wonder who is on the other side of the door. Originally I really thought the traitor was Ranmaru. But after this chapter (and the fact he's on the OTHER side of the door) it seems unlikely. And well. Shimon is fighting Kamedenbou so... The only person I haven't seen recently is Kai. I mean, it'll really suck if he's not the traitor. Cause well. He seemed important, haha.
I sense some future collaboration between Ranmaru and Gama if Ranmaru manages to survive this battle. Like. Naoyoshi will be taken again ("No! Don't kill Ranmaru. I'll come with you" <-- if this happens again... orz) Ranmaru now feels obligated to save Naoyoshi (and cuz of Jinsuke's last order. We all know Jinsuke's gonna die soon), explains the situation to Shimon (like come on, as if he'll die after killing Gensai. Plus he's a bishounen. HA!) then they form a temporary alliance/join the Ogame school?
