My week has definitely been on the up and down side. It was pretty nice and relaxing to begin with, then the whole car accident yesterday - not so much. :P Totally a upside to find out that my mom will be able to come over and visit and be here for when my lil girl comes tho :D
Ugh, I'm sorry it's so hot there. We're having cool rainy weather right now; I'm sure in a few days I'll be sick of it enough to send it over!
Yay for finishing up POD I! That must feel like a relief :)
Life's been OK here. I'm so uncomfortable but that's just the way it is right now, and it'll change in a few weeks. Just have to hang on a bit longer. Every day is one day closer, right?!
Mittens sent me an email* to let me know his running mate. I have to say, whoever's writing his emails certainly lacks the panache of the writer of John McCain's. But on the plus side, they only asked me once for money (as compared to the emails from McCain, which asked three times per email and provided two separate buttons to make it easy to donate).
*I sent John McCain an email after his defeat in '08 because I thought he gave an excellent concession speech, and I wanted to congratulate him on that.
I would probably stab somebody for some cool weather right about now! lol...
It is a huge weight off, I tell you. I can now focus 100% on POD II!
Oh I'm so glad that Mittens wanted to touch base with you. I certainly hope you showered in scalding hot water and used steel wool to get that stank off! lol...
Haircuts and excessive heat seem to be a theme lately! Are you a Buddhist? I've been studying Kadampa and Mahayana Buddhism for a while and I'm always looking for other Buddhists with whom to talk philosophy.
Paul Ryan is just...on one hand, I suppose it's good that he picked such a polarizing candidate, there's no way he can fool people into playing the "liberal Republican" now. But on the other hand, what if he actually wins.
Haircuts and excessive heat are a total theme. A craptastic one too! lol.. I'm not a Buddhist but I've always been curious about it. I could use the peace that comes from Buddhism, I think! :-)

Glad that the Universe has been treating you well! And I hope it continues to do so! :-)
Paul Ryan is HORRID. Even worse that Mittens himself.

If he wins? May the gods help us all.
