I was initially disappointed last evening when I read what happened because I really thought you would emerge triumphant this season. But you know what? You DID emerge triumphant! I am thrilled to hear that you gained a special insight right at the time you needed it. I am also thrilled that Pixie got to stay in the game because of it. She definitely deserves to be in the running. Everything is working out like it's supposed to.:)Love you both!
First, I'm just glad you're paying attention to where you are, and what you need to do to take care of yourself and continue to nurture your soul.
And second, I'm just stoked because it shows what a beautiful partnership you and Kristen have - one where success for one of you is interchangeable with the other, because their victory brings you as much joy (if not more) than your own does. Reed and I had our first dance at our wedding to a song called "Twice as Good," and there's this line that says, "With my good news, you're dancing on the table." And that kind of partnership just makes life more beautiful for everyone involved. :)
You two both pour your heart and soul into this competition, and into your writing, and I know you'll both make the most of the opportunities you have in front of you now. *hugs*
That makes total sense. I would have liked to see you make a run for the title, but you have to do what's good for yourself. Plus, things are taking off with the Projects of Doom! Exciting!
I almost cried when I read you weren't going to go through to the next round, but then, I'm exhausted and hormonal, so it doesn't take much to set me off LOL I did think, since you'd mentioned feeling under the pump and overwhelmed lately, that there was more at play than how it might have first appeared :) You guys are both awesome, and I'm really glad you both made it so far in the competition.

I can totally identify with wanting to do something else with your time and focus. And you'll do great at the writing thing. :)
