Somehow I caught some nasty cold bug while in FL. Some nights there I slept fitfully and felt clammy, and one morning there (I think it was the second morning) I woke up with an extremely stuffy nose. That progressed to a runny nose, which progressed to a sore throat, and my nose plagued me the rest of the trip (one day I blew my nose so much all ( Read more... )

Wow, awesome! MK is definately awesome especially the "Wishes" show! I rode everything you mentioned except the teacups (my friend with me has motion sickness) and I didn't do the laugh floor. But I went on Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Pirates, etc, etc. Sounds like you had fun!

MGM and Animal Kingdom sound like fun, too - I've never been there.

Epcot's awesome. When I went there, we spent half a day going on all the rides. And I agree, Soarin is amazing. When we finally started going to the 'Countries,' it was a thunderstorm overhead. We tried to do as much as we could but when we got to Japan, the show started and we never finished. Epcot is really cool though. ^^

Oh, you went to Rainforest Cafe and shopped Downtown Disney your first day? Sweet, so did we! How long did you have to wait to get seated? Ours was two hours, I believe.

Loved the pictures! ^_^

I think at Rainforest we made reservations and came back an hour or two later. When we called Planet Hollywood later that week the only opening they had was 3pm on a Sunday afternoon! So you definitely have to plan ahead in Disney.

I think you would like Animal Kingdom! There's so many opportunities to see different animals and it's all outdoors. Sections of the park are modeled after Asia and Africa! You really feel as if you are surrounded by exotic sights. We wanted to go on the outdoor safari that is so talked about, but the wait was 2 hours. :-/
