I heard an interview with the guy that did the music for Slumdog Millionaire. He was very cognizant of the fact that people from around the world who did not know his language would be listening, so he kept the lyrics simple and easy for people to pick up on. I'm also jealous of the West Coasters getting to watch the Oscars live. They ended here at 11 p.m.

We didn't even get to watch the whole ceremony. Lucien needed his bath and to go to bed. Then we headed down to the basement for gaming. I caught the remaining results online. ;)

The kids and I like to dance to the Monsoon Wedding soundtrack. I love all sorts of world music, and it's great to expose the little one to anything and everything.

I often put on Pandora (internet radio) during the day, but the only world music I've got is a bit of Celtic. I'll have to look into changing that. I think I'll do a search for 'Monsoon Wedding' and see if that can be my starting point. ;)
