Oh, I'm sorry. That stinks.
You know, I once missed out on a rental place because of a mistake of the landlord (I followed every rule he gave, but he didn't). In the end, that place was on the bus line I took to get to work. I noticed that every single tenant (including the business) changed over every 6 months. I felt better after that as it didn't turn out to be the good situation I thought it would be. Maybe this place you looked at wasn't the good situation you thought it would be, either.

I think you'll find a place that's right. I hope you find it soon.

Well, the house did not have a dishwasher, which I wasn't thrilled about. So maybe the next place we apply for will. :)
