So, I'm going out with my husband tonight. It's our first night out without the baby since July! We're going to his company holiday party, so it should be fun

I don't know... She could stand to buy him a lot more classic Italian and British roadsters. Of course, I would help keep them in good working order until he can drive them...

Good mommies take time for themselves so that they can be refreshed and grow and be well-rounded people. Good mommies also model what healthy relationships are and part of healthy relationships are spending time with each other without children. Good mommies have fun with other adults. Good mommies worry about being bad mommies...but they are really good mommies. :)

You know, deep down I know that all you've said is true. I worry too much. I saw an episode of 'John & Kate Plus 8' where she went to a spa and said that a spa day made her a better mommy because she could relax and really enjoy her kids. It's true. I felt that way after my spa day. I think I should take another spa day.
