Ah, yes...the playlist. Here it is: Soul Meets Body - Death Cab for Cutie Yellow - Coldplay Flightless Bird, American Mouth - Iron and Wine Clocks - Coldplay Someday You Will Be Loved - Death Cab for Cutie Love and Some Verses - Iron and Wine Summer Skin - Death Cab for Cutie Forget It - Breaking Benjamin Fix You - Coldplay Resurrection Fern - Iron and Wine Violet Hill - Coldplay Calling You - Blue October Speed of Sound - Death Cab for Cutie Each Coming Night - Iron and Wine Rain - Breaking Benjamin The Scientist - Coldplay Shiver - Coldplay The Sound of Setting - Death Cab for Cutie Saturate - Breaking Benjamin
He said she's a fan of Cold Play and other slow, mushy stuff. He did manage to sneak in some Breaking Benjamin which is one of his favorites, lol. And he has me to thank for Iron and Wine.
As for kissing he says, I know how to kiss, mom, so don't even go there... She was over for dinner on Saturday and they came to the table holding hands. *guh*
Now this leads me to believe that Mr. Brack's first mix to you was something epic for you to keep him, because I know that you wouldn't have paid attention if he had given you something deemed not worthy... ;)
I'm glad the ceremony went well. You'd hate to have your graduation remembered with negativity. And you were valedictorian? How fabulously exciting! A great tidbit to know about our friend Robyn!
I love the cover art for the cd. That is just gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
And I'm glad you like the girlfriend too. Always a bonus.
It was a bit anticlimactic down there---the demonstrators stayed away; the family who started the whole fuss stayed away...but I do really feel sorry for that family's son. From what I heard he was mortified about the whole thing. How sad that his parents felt they had such an agenda to address at his expense. Me, valedictorian? Yes, I was, but it was a case of big fish in a small pond or better yet, big catfish in a mud puddle.
See my comment above to Sam regarding play list. *points up*
Girlfriend is good. Her family is good. Her grades are good. What's not to like? They're so sweet.
Regarding that family---my mom says no one knows who they are or where they live---which in a small town is an unusual fact. I have a feeling they may be a part of a larger organization that wanted to use this situation as a 'test case.' Poor kid...
Regarding my 'honor'--- I did take physics, lol. That should count for something. The salutatorian (who was only a fraction of a GPA below me) had taken 'Skills for Family Living.' Not that I'm keeping track or anything... ;)

No doubt. That poor kid shouldn't have had to miss his own graduation either. Time to tell mom and pop to mind their own business, me thinks.
I think you must have wonderfully deserved your valedictorian honor. No question.

I . . . I am not ready for this.

I'm just hoping they keep their clothes on. At all times.

The Eldest is turning out to be quite the young romantic. Now I just need to teach him how to cook and he'll be the perfect future husband. ;)

I was watching this story over the weekend. I'm so glad that the appeals court came to that decision. I truly believe it was the right one.
Your Eldest is a sweetie. I love the songs he put on the mix, and the artwork you did is gorgeous. :)
