Garden Goodies

We've had a few frosts (and snow) already so my gardening season is more or less done. I dug my carrots this week -- I was concerned about the ground getting too frozen. Now the forecast for the coming week is warm (50s/60s) and wet. It seems like we're turning into the Pacific Northwest.

Here's my carrots and a few elephant garlic:

I would love to have apples from somewhere other than a supermarket. *le sigh* Nothing is grown here. Literally nothing. :(

That's a bummer. My friend that used to be in Seoul is now in Shanghai and she's been 'ordering' food from reputable sources---she's in an expat area and that's what they all do. She misses being able to do things herself like she did in Seoul.
