I just saw the Micheal Moore film, Fahrenhiet 9/11. I agree with president Bush's comment at the beginning of the film, "Get a real job."  This man is someone who takes political mudslinging to a whole new level. First of all, He begins the movie by claiming that the presidential elections were stolen becuase Bush's first cousin worked on the ( Read more... )

Michael Moore is a scumbag liar anonymous July 5 2004, 20:19:19 UTC
Michael Moore is a scumbag liar, I mean just look at him. He's so full of shit he looks like it! I pity anyone ignorant enough to believe the lies portrayed in F 9/11. I support Bush and I deeply regret even going to the movie theater to watch and support Michael Moore's attack on American capitalism.

i asked u to see the movie, u did and u din't like it. i totally respect that, but i'm just gonna clear up a few things that you and your conservative entourage may have missed. moore did not mean to come across as saying that bush won the election because of his cousin chose to list florida in bush's states won column. what he =was trying to say was that because of the fact that his first cousin called florida for bush on fox after all the other networks had called it gore, caused all the other networks to think that fox had some info they didn't and they followed thier lead (truth be told gore did win the election under every possible scenario). Also, media outlets have since time in memoriam tried to call elections and this is not the first time that they have flubbed, who can forget the famous photo of harry truman holding up a copy of the chicago tribune that delcared thomas dewey the winner of that presidential election. What moore did say was that bush won the election because the supreme court which has 5 conservative ( ... )

I'm glad that you called the Supreme Court Justices conservative and liberal, not republican and democrat. Let me remind you that canservative is not a party, and there are no party lines in the Supreme Court. What there are are decisions about issues that the Supreme Court feels are of grave importance. I agree with the Court. Gore got his recount. He LOST. Get over it. There was no conspiracy to put Bush in power, it just happened to be a close election, and when there is a close election the sore losers are obviously going to call foul play. If the media is so ficle (we know it is), then what is Moore's point including the reference to Bush's cousin. You want to know a fact that was left out of the film? Most of the disenfranchised blacks were republican, and the commission that disenfranchised them? Oh, democrat led. Do I smell foul play? Mind you, all this was left out of the movie. Well I wish I could write more, but I have to go to practice. To be continued...

there are not supposed to be party lines in the supreme court, the jsutices are supposed to be above that, however, who can deny that if a conservative wants conservatives in power and a liberal fellow left wingers in power. to say otherwise would be just plain silly. the supreme court halted the recount, gore never got it. i never stated that there was aconspiracy to get bush in power, but bush's buddies on the supreme court helped like a gun in a knife fight. no one can deny that in a close election the losing party will vehemently contest the outcome of an election for that is not only the nature of politics but the nature of man. By the way Katherine Harris supervise the 2000 election, she is Jeb Bush's secretary of state , she is as republican as assualt weapons. gore won the popular vote in this country by 539,898 votes. 173,000 registered voters were removed from the voter list most of them were black and 90 percent of blacks in florida voted democrat in 2000, had most of those disenfrachised blacks been republicans jeb and ( ... )

I am not basing any of the things I am talking about off the article in Javi's LJ. In fact, I didn't even read the article! My facts are coming from government documents. Thats where it all comes from.

Maybe your ignorant to the fact that all available information and intellgence is on the internet on federal Web sites. Check out http://www.cia.gov/ it has a wealth of information. I also use something called common sense. It's a very valuable resource that has been neglected by much of today's population. Sometimes you just have to sit back and think. Try it, it just might work. Thanks for your comments and I hope you discover what is really going on in the government, not what the media says is going on.
