Title: Kame Love (Or what was written for Valentine's day.)
Fandom: JE, KAT-TUN and some NEWS
Characters: Kame, Ryo, Ueda, Junno, Jin, Maru, Koki, Yamapi
Author: Silver
Warnings/Ratings: Pg-13? Boys Love. Fluff?
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the boys. This is purely fiction.
A/N: I'm pretty new to this fandom and not really a writer. If there are mistakes please correct me.

Nishikido Ryo

"The first time I saw Kamenashi I thought that he really was ugly enough to piss people off."

"You're still ugly."

Ryo states to the only other person in the rehearsal room slash dressing room.
"Yep, you're still ugly." Ryo growled again as if he had found a new conclusion that no one else can and will ever disagree with.
He does it really to justify to himself that his obssession with Kamenashi was non-existent.

But Kame doesn't react.

"I bet you're crying inside, aren't you, Kamenashi-kun?" Ryo asked (his irritation hidden).

He doesn't know when but the Kame he once knew had changed. Actually he knows, that was why his infatuation with the boy grew.

Kame barely gave him a glance and continued on with his practice.

"I'm gonna leave then." He said. (Since when was he that polite to him?)

But Ryo doesn't leave. Even though he knows that Yamapi and Jin were not going to come for practice after attempting to get it touch with Pi only to get his voicemail. His eyes are glued onto Kame. He had already memorised the dance moves after watching Kame Yamapi danced Seishun Amigo many times before.

But he was mesmerised. He had always wondered why Kame's legs seems extra flexible.

Even if Kame had realise that Ryo had not left, he seemed to be persistent in ignoring Ryo's presence.

Ryo realised then that it was a threat to him!

Ryo was reputated to be a mean jerk; it was in his manly pride (that demanded him) to step up to the challenge.

He had to make Kame respond to him.

Besides, he was bored and free, with the allocated time that he had given for this rehearsal.

After utilizing his (very) extensive (and colourful) vocabulary of spite, it had barely dented the wall that his enemy had constructed.

Ryo was now royally pissed.

He had no other choice now then but to use his last resort.

It was an obligation to be a winning bastard after all,

and so in a most annoying and irritating tone that he could muster, Ryo utters,

"Kame." (Like in the making of Signal.)

Ryo could feel the inner villain laugh in him rambling and congratulated himself for being a genius when he saw the movement - Kame turning to face him.

"Kame, Kame, Kame."

Yes! Victory for Ryo! And it tastes so sweet. Ryo happily abuses his newfound weapon.

The next thing that happened was sudden though not unwelcomed.

Kame had kissed him quickly to shut him up.

Ryo who was slightly startled, found a wicked grin blooming on his face.

(Kame should be scared.)

"Kame-chan. Let me show you how a real man do it."

Ueda Tatsuya

The thing he had with Ueda was a dream.

Ueda was beautiful and strong.
Everything that Kame aspired to be.

And so Kame asks Ueda to teach him more, about boxing (and the beauties in life).
Being the gentle soul he was, Ueda agrees.

The mystery of Ueda Tatsuya crumbles, as Kame learns more about him, with the more time they spend together. The more he knew, the more he wanted to know more about this sensitive soul. Ueda was captivating; like a rare butterfly speciment that he wanted to capture and kept forever with time.

But Kame knew inside that butterflies weren't meant to be kept close to your heart only, it would only be selfish on his part. Butterflies were meant to be free; to flutter in harmony with nature, despite the tiny flutterings in his own heart.

"I agree, Ueda will continue to have a relationship without marriage." Kame said in an interview.

It wouldn't fasten itself to you no matter what you do or say.

It never fails that every time after an intense boxing match, that the both of you will fall into a tangle of limbs.

Ueda was addicting and Kame did not know if he could stop.

Every morning, after the night, before the first break of light, Kame hesitates to reach out for Ueda's hand. Because he knows that he will crush him if he held him too tight.
But Kame is happy with the little joy that Ueda gives him when he lets Kame play out his dream.
And when the sun comes out, Ueda disappears when Kame opens his eyes.

Taguchi Junnosuke

Although Kame never says anything, Junno knows that Kame is grateful for him and the little actions that he gives, Kame appreciates.
To Kame, Junno was his quiet strength.
Even if no one knew or no one had said anything about it.
Because it was the intangible things like love that mattered the most to Junno.
He never needed his love to be measured by words.

Junno like everyone else in KAT-TUN, finds that Kame is too thin. And that Kame wore too little, too thin of clothes all the time (while Jin wore too thick of clothes).

He shakes his head at that thought. If only Kame could be more sensible to such matters.
But he was somewhat glad inside because it gave him a purpose to show his love more.

Junno knows that he is important to Kame.
Kame lets him see a side of Kame that no one else knows.

He finds Kame, alone and vulnerable, in the middle of the practice room.

Junno slowly makes his way from behind. Kame's eyes was closed; and his mind lost to the music blasting from his earphones.

Kame stiffens when he feels two strong arms locking him into an embrace, but relaxes when he hears Junno's voice. ( He has taken off his earphones.)
Kame felt very warm, both inside and outside. He listens to Junno's ramblings which he knows he need not reply, and he was grateful for what Junno offers him.

Junno smiles.

The reason why he smiles all the time was because that Kame was all that he ever needs.

Akanishi Jin

He finds Jin in the bar.
Jin was intoxicated.
It was funny how things have changed between them.

Strangers. Friends. Strangers.

It hurts him to realise how someone who was once dear to his heart, was no longer so. It seems that a piece of him was gone and was irrecoverable.
Kame shakes his head, knowing that such ideals of a perfect love would be impossible to attain. Life was just like that.

Jin turns his head to face Kame.

(Kame-chan was someone he cares for the most.)

And Kame looked deep into his eyes (for the last time), for an answer that Kame knows, he will never find.

(But he will never know because this was the last time.)

Kame inhales the smell of alcohol reeking from Jin.

(Maru will patch him up.)

He feels Jin's firm grip on him as he slams him onto the wall.

And from that moment on, Kame felt as if he was entrapped a black and white film; every action seem to move slower than what was normal for earth time.

Jin breaks down
- - and breaks into him.

(I'm sorry Kame.)

And Kame was always powerless against Jin.

Nakamaru Yuichi

Yucci always picks up the pieces.

He finds Kame knocking on the door late at night.
He doesn't say a word but pulls the boy into a tight hug.
Nakamaru wrinkles his nose as the strong stench of alcohol hits him.
He pushes Kame into the bathroom.

That was what Kame loved about Maru.
Maru who understands him, Maru whom he can always depend on.
There was safety in his arms.
Kame loved the smell of Nakamaru; it was soothing to him.

They find themselves talking about mundane things, skirting the real issue of why Kame was here.
They were comfortable, Kame in his bathtub filled with bubbles, Maru sitting on the toilet bowl by his side, staring at the green wall.

This had happened time and time again. Kame seeking refuge in Maru and Maru unable to refuse anything that Kame seeks from him. He makes Kame laughs with the funny things he had done or have come across in the week. He pushes any feelings of resent aside. Kame did not need it.

Sometimes, it pains him to know what ordinary is.
He was an ordinary person whom Kame will never take notice of.
This was an ordinary occurence that will hurt him again and again even if he pretends it does not.
He can never expect this to amount to anything that was not ordinary,
and he will have to act ordinary for Kame's sake, meaning to throw out any confusing feelings that he may have.

Sometimes, life was unfair.
At least, it allows him to care for Kame.

Maru heads to the rack to reach for the towel that was for Kame.
He turns and walks towards the bathtub.
Of course something stupid had to happen.
And Maru trips over his own feet.

He falls face front into the bathtub.
He was pressed against Kame since the bathtub was really small.

Their eyes met.
They stared deeply into the other, as if conveying a silent message that they secretly hope the other could read.

There was no embarassment or shame in the atmosphere.

Sometimes, Kame realises that he does not understand Maru.
It was one of those times - when Maru kisses him so softly and sweetly.

(He sleeps like a baby in Maru's house.)

Tanaka Koki

Their conversation always starts out light-hearted, peppered with jokes and unexceptional talk.
Then it develops into something deeper because Koki was Kame's heart to heart buddy.

Tanaka Koki, whose sincerity in matters and warmness has made it easy for Kame to talk to him about anything. Koki was the sort of person to Kame whom he could trust to tell everything under the sun about and once the words starts rolling, he could not stop the words from pouring out. He was comfortable with Koki.

Today, they sit opposite of each other, a fondue fountain was placed in the middle of the table. As usual, Koki was meticulously cutting the food or fruits rather into smaller pieces for Kame to digest. And as usual, Kame was touched by Koki's actions.

Kame laughed at the flower-cut fruits. They were perfectly adorable and girlish. He wants to pout and complain to Koki that he was not a girl, and thus did not need to be treated like one, and he does. (But he likes the attention.) Koki laughs. And they put the matter aside again.

"Koki," Kame's small little voice asks - this comes out whenever Kame requests for something and Koki cannot help but to smile smallishly while waiting for Kame's request. "Can you sing for me please?" Koki smile stretches wider and he does. He would do anything to comfort Kame and see him smile.

Kame smiles - a smile that was happy but tinged with a bit of sadness. Koki worries a little.
By now, they had abandoned the table and was seated on the sofa.

Kame's smile was wistful. He seemed to be in his own world.

After Koki's song, Kame snuggles into Koki; his lanky arms circled around the older man. Koki turns to look at him and smiles warmly.

He inches closer to Kame's face and plants a delicate kiss on the boy.

WARNING: I gave up thinking straight. -cough-

Yamashita Tomohisa

Kame leaves with Koki to go shopping.
He wasn't ready to go home yet.

Kame's eyes trailed to a familiar figure that made his day much brighter, his heart skipped faster, his breath cut short, his life much sweeter.

His heart wanted to sing out loud when he saw Yamapi waiting for him by the car.

Yamapi's smile warms his heart and when it lights up upon seeing Kame, nothing else really matters.

Pi reaches his hand out to Kame and Kame holds onto it snuggly and perfectly.

And Kame realises then, that his problem wasn't to find a way to become more beautiful.

It became clear to him.
It doesn't matter if he was ugly because Pi was ugly too. And they could be happily ugly together. Kame giggled in his thoughts.

"Kazuya~" Pi sings in an akira manner. "I'm not ugly."
Whoops, did he say that thought out loud?

Pi suddenly made a one hundred eighty change as he looked seriously into his Kazuya's eyes and says, "Kazuya,"

"Yes, Pi?" Kame asks uncertainly.

"You are beautiful."

-cough- Yes I realise I need to write another fic for pikame cause this is silly.
