Poor diet. Dump all your white flour items, buy whole grains. Stop eating ANYTHING that lists sugar in the top four ingredients. Seriously.
Stop eating Omega 6 oils and foods high in omega 6. Cut soybeans and corn from your diet - or reduce to a once a week food.
Eat more dairy. Take a vitamin D supplement. Take any vitamins and supplements at the opposite side of the day that you take your med, to avoid interactions in the digestive tract.
Your diet, combined with your lack of exercise is killing you.
There, I sound just like your Dad. For all the same reasons.
And the damned Seasonal Disorder. If I still had my 'awake' lamp I'd give it to you. I gave it to Liz, who didn't use it, and I suspect it was purged in their move. Ah well.
