Well, it's been almost four months exactly since my last post. And I have to say, I'm still appreciating everyone in my life and not taking things for granted (much

I know having an ill mother is hard, heart wrenching and confusing at times. My mother got sick then past away 4 years ago. It took every ounce of enegery I had sometimes to keep it all going. It was espically hard being a parent to my mother. We had some batlles and would act like such a child some times. We always had a war of wills between us. But it was just hard knowing you were the "parent". My prayers and thoughts are with you. Just remember we are out here if you need a break.! Reality is such a bitch sometimes. Happy Easter! Belynda
I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through what you did with your mother. It's never easy. I'm trying to keep a positive outlook and say that I am grateful for all the time I have had. If I sit and think about all I've missed the past 6 months and what I will miss, I'm sure I'd be a basket case. So, I just try and focus on the positive. Which, as I'm sure you know is sometimes easier said than done.
Happy Easter to you and your family Belynda! Thanks for your kind words.
I love your forsythia. I lost mine when they did the bulkhead, I miss it very much. My father started growing for me years ago. It'll be 2 years June that my father passed. I really miss those flowers now. I understand what your going through. My brother was gravely ill there for awhile. Things are getting better slowly. It's just not their time to go yet. Happy Spring! Stop and smell the flowers once in awhile.
The bright & sunny yellow always cheers me up when the forsythia bloom. I can understand you missing yours, especially since your father planted them. They were special.
I'm so glad to hear that your brother has been doing better. I hope it continues!
I think we can all stop & smell the flowers once in a while, right?
