Camping

So I went camping this weekend with quite a few of my friends. That was a fun experience thanks to the campgrounds having outdoor electricity and me bringing a television and my gamecube. Well, I did other things as well ( Read more... )

Very cool you had a fun weekend. You missed out on some good Showcase events, tho'. I don't know how, but I got these two scrapes on my left arm, near my hand. I am pretty sure they are from the concession stand. Or from when Matt hit me - but I can't prove it.

Oh, and Legolas is losing right now. You need to convince people to vote for him so your "three votes" count ;)

Okay, long enough comment now. Hope your ear is doing better soon. Adios!

JC... you're seriously kidding me that you brought your GameCube camping. The whole point of camping is to get outdoors and away from the crazy technology trying to control us! Hahaha.

I think Legolas would be very disappointed in your poor display of woodlore. *sheesh*

No no, Legolas would have been pleased that I was doing my best not to disturb nature while certain other campers I know killed fifty bees with a stick shoved into a Duncan Donuts box that they called the B-Gone.

The point of the camping trip was to relax and have fun, which is precisely what I did.

Were there any alcoholic beverages present at this camping trip? And did you indulge in any??

There were many, many alcoholic beverages present, but I did not indulge.

You will come to Kim's house and indulge in the beverages in a safe environment. AND you will not puke either. Pace yourself. I always do...

Camping is fun, but leave the GameCube at home! Didn't you go hiking? Explore the towns nearby? Take some photos? Do some cookin'? S'mores at night? Dip in the lake is fun. Sit back and read my "Watchers" book you have yet to read? C'mon, read it!!!

The campground was far too jam-packed to do hiking in any sort of fun manner, and no, we didn't do much town exploration. Sheryl did bring three cameras, but she didn't use them much until we went to Mark's cottage. I'm sure she has some nice pictures from the cottage, but I'd need to get them from her and scan them in if you wanted me to post them.

Cooking, well of course I did cooking. We did have some s'mores... But I usually slept until noon, then woke up for some sort of activity, leaving me with very little daylight left to read anything.
