Requiring Flu vaccines

And people wonder why when we do get sick we stay sick so long now. Hmmmmm....couldn't be cause we've killed our immune systems with too many vaccines and antibacterial crap could it? I mean, what kid stands a chance to build up his/her immune system when they never have the chance to get sick? I even watched a kid, like four years old maybe, drop ( Read more... )

On the overuse of antibacterial stuff and overzealous cleanliness obsessed parents, I agree with you. Antibiotic overuse is also a major problem, having lead to things like MRSA and whatnot ( ... )

I agree with you on the whole too. My point though is alot of the time for kids in general, not catching diseases such as the flu on occasion could be a bad idea. Not catching the measles or the mumps, that I can whole heartedly agree with. Having had Chicken pox and the flu or even worse from my standpoint, strep throat, I don't see much use in vaccines for things like that. Other than just keeping kids from getting sick and then not understanding why they can't seem to fight off what would normally be trivial diseases and such like a cold.
