haha the wedding was far more fun than i could have expected..
my cousin's a huge beatles fan... so she had this tribute band as the house band. now, that doesn't SOUND great.. but it really really REALLY was.. hahaha. we had SOOOO much fun.. me and my rowdy rowdy relatives.it's pretty funny when my cousins get married, because my family's far more rowdy than the in-laws. haha. my mom said people were pulling up chairs around the dance floor just to watch the shenanigans. i'm sure the band hated me, my cousin keli, and my cousin david's girlfriend, sabrina cuz we were soooo obnoxious hahhaa. we were like.. screaming like they were the ACTUALLY beatles during "help" and we were dancing behind the band at some point hahaha. jokers.
even before the dancing, it started out real funny. sabrina (who looks just like punky brewster) was trashed after 1.5 drinks. we're talking TRASHED.. throwing pretzels across the table and telling 20 minute jokes trashed.. my cousin's husband eric is pretty hilarious too, so between sabrina's drunken rants (calling my cousin david the "polish sausage king of chicago") and eric's shenanigans, we were throughouhly entertaining the band, who was sitting at our table haha. sabrina and eric got their autographs and were talking about putting them on ebay hahahha. the band were OLD guys too man. hahahhaha. they wore beatles wigs on stage hahah.
but yeah, there were a ton of dance offs. and my cousin keli's fiance wasn't there so she and i slow danced haha. it hasn't been like that in a long time.. and was way fun. i haven't had that much fun with my relatives in awhile. there was an hour break between sets and they were playing chingy and outkast and stuff and we kept being real ghetto hahah. my parents are probably pretty scared. eh.
oh, so this one dance off i had with my aunt was sooo funny hahahhaha. it was the mother of the bride.. and i was like.. doing the running man.. so she was like doing the monkey.. and then i came back with the roger rabbit and she started doing a hoedown dance and i was like AHHHHHH I GOT SERRRRRRRVVEEEDDDD hahhahaha it was so awesome. getting served by my relatives hahahah.
oh oh! and i convinced the "john" of the group (who actually sat at my parent's table.. and my dad was asking him if he was going to play any willie nelson and if he'd ever heard of get up and go.. that guy probably is so depressed today hahhahahaha)to play just one part of "julia" hahaha and he did! it was great. ... now to work on adam green busting it out at a show.. yes yes?
this week is pretty busy. i have the fitting tomorrow for the dress. i am expecting the worst... we'll see.. we'll see...
wednesday is bri's birthday, but i don't think we're "celebrating" it until saturday... thursday is radio 4 with lynne, siobhan and phil and friday is MEANNNNN GIRLLLSSS WHOOOOOO
