so, after a nice chicken salad roll that my mum made for me, i'm back yet again to continue this epic tale that has been my last few months. lol

firstly, because i didn't have a job at the time and hence no money, i sent her Valentine's Day present as well. it was a silver necklace with a heart pendant, which says "Chai" in the center of it, in Hebrew letters (Chai means "life" in hebrew). this was in a red silk handbag with Oriental designs on it. also in the bag was a silver bracelet with a heart locket, and a pair of silver earrings to go with the bracelet, which are basically just long rods. i also sent her my black Nike cap, which she is wearing in her pic on LJ. she loved it so much cos it looks really good on her. in the cap was a little inscription. also a Deakin uni diary, which she likes, and also some Darrell Lee Easter eggs. she hasn't had Easter eggs since she lived in England, so i thought i'd give her a treat. oh yeah, and when she was here i pinkified of her blue singlets (turned it oink in the wash), so i sent her a replacement. hehe.
You are so cool! Its really good that you do so much to make people more aware. I'm really impressed with the ceremony. Its really great that you are helping people to know and remember.
the two main aims of AUJS are to cater to the needs of Jewish students on campus, and also to educate the wider community about Judaism and Israel. next semester we have Israel Week coming up, which is gonna be awesome. it's basically a totally non-political campaign that focuses on the positive side to Israel that most people don't know about because their only exposure of Israel comes from the conflict they see and hear about in the media.
Your presents for Tammy are so awesome! I really love the Chai necklace... It was really cool that it actually came on her birthday. She was so happy! She wouldn't shut up about how her boyfriend has good taste, when we went out to eat, and she kept on saying 'my Jacob'. She's so cute... You guys are so cute!!!
