Overload, part 5: Yom Ha'atzmaut

Straight after Holocaust Awarness Week, AUJS Deakin began to plan what we would be doing for Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day. What was nice was that during that week, the Deakin Uni Students Association was having it's anual Multicultural Week, where students from different backgrounds got to showcase their cultural traditions to the rest

Israel rocks! I don't know if you read my journal but me and my friends camped out in my backyard, which was really fun, and sang Israel songs at two in the morning. Oh, and we danced down our street barefoot, lol.
Israel really really rocks! It really is cool to be in Israel on Yom Ha'atsmaut and just walk down the street and think, this is ours, this is our amazing beautiful land, and we are living in it. (Hint hint, nah I'm just kidding...)
