we had another one of those informal weigh-ins yesterday. 9.4 pounds. Tomorrow I will be 6 months old. At the rate I'm going, I'll be 20 pounds by the time I'm a year old. Tomorrow I'll be 5 months old. I now weigh 7.5 pounds and am turning into quite the monster! I am constantly "hunting" my various Mouseys. There's Orange Mousey, Blue Crinkly Mousey, and of course my favorite, just plain Mousey. I like to line them up on the bed. I also like running around with them in my mouth. Even without the influence of watching baseball, I still was a very bad kitty last night. I knocked all the books off the top of one of the bookshelves and made quite a mess. yes, sleeping all day is very good for fueling bursts of energy through the wee hours of the night. We added some new pictures to my 4 month old page. I'm a lazy kitty and slept most of the day so have nothing much to say. I'm sure since I slept all day, I'll be up making trouble all night. Fun!

I came home from the vet last Friday morning, after the vet reported that I was being quite vocal about wanting to go home. The original plan was for me to go home Friday afternoon, but at 10 a.m. I was being quite noisy and they asked my mom if she could come get me as soon as possible. Still at the vet, but did very well in surgery. The vet said "Uhhhh, he's quite a bundle of energy, isn't he?" so obviously I'm not sluggish from the anesthesia, or bothered by the pain. Will get to go home some time tomorrow.

Was dropped off at the vet at 8:30 this morning for surgery after a night of insanity. We're hoping that perhaps the surgery will cure me of some of my aggression issues. I was pretty bad last night and got smacked on more than one occasion.

I got to spend the weekend alone for the first time. I seemed to do ok, but boy was I noisy in scolding her for leaving me. Am now curled up in my favorite place--between the keyboard and the monitor--and am purring contentedly after snacking on Trader Joe's canned tuna & crab feast sent home from Columbus from my "uncle" James and "aunt" Cynthia ( ( Read more... )
