I determined a year or so ago, that as the scale goes I'm kinda a mid level hoarder. Being the youngest son of parents who were both pack rats. I feel you, man. My room, as I've always put it, looks like the storehouse to a museum. I have piles upon piles of crap. I'll throw away like, 10 garbage bags of crud and donate another healthy amount, and it looks no better.
