Ah, the things I just love about other drivers... (For Friday 13/1/06)

- Inability to stay in own lane, even going 20km/h in peak hour traffic.
- Trucks in right lane. All the time. Regardless of speed or location of their turn off.
- Thundering past 10km/h over the speed limit, leap in front of a car, then slow to 10km/p below the friggin limit, ( Read more... )

What bugs me is at the airport baggage collection when everyone crowds around the conveyor thingemy trying to get a good spot, and of course they've got to get a trolley before all this, so there's a sea of people and trolleys so thick you can't even *see* your bags, let alone push through and *get* them. It'd be *so* much more logical if people would just hang back until they saw their bags, but noooo, they want to crowd around and be impatient, so that when people *do* finally see their bags and try to get them off, not only do they have to dart between people and then have only a split second to lift the 20+ kilo bag, but also they take out two or three people swinging the thing off.

ARGH.

Whats worse: Jetstar. They drag the 4 or so highly packed trolleys into the 'recieving' room, and its a free for all. The Jetstar 'unloaders' just let the passengers do it mostly, unless something is really heavy. Other people actually get to THROW your baggage off the trolley if its on top of theirs. Ours was on the bottom, so no throwing.

I dont know if this is standard practice or whether the belt was broken so they had no choice, I don't remember seeing a belt, there may have been, but even if it was broken it was still shocking...

I will be continuing to fly Virgin, where I get to pick my bag up off a belt, even if you have to do the elbow shuffle!
