I am having difficulty forgetting about my weekend of playing as I enjoyed it so. I may have to pre-order just to participate in the final two beta weekends

Not really sure I would enjoy a game like this, but it does seem interesting. I'm not a huge fan of RPG action games, but playing one online might be cool. And I see this one caters for us po' dial up users....gotta like that.
Yes, it does, but thank goodness I don't have to worry about that.
Apart from initial downloads of areas (which you only do once, of course), I can't see dial-up having a bad experience. Of course, during Beta opening and closing there's a huge population so even ADSL gets lagged but in normal gaming time it was smooth. In fact, I think it was the opening hours that had me a bit jumpy and not my hardware so I shall turn up the settings to make it pretty next time; see if my computer can handle it.
I'd suggest you give it a try, especially as it's not a play-a-lot-of-time to be good game. It helps but casual players can still be powerful. However, the key system means it's not really an open beta so you can't just try it without buying it (since I'm told no freebie keys will be used the next two times around, you have to pre-order).
The game is different, perhaps that's why I enjoyed it so much.
I would expect it to be $89.95-$100 as that's the usual price for new games in Australia. However it could be cheaper, we'll see. But I'd say $99.95 tops which is pretty pricy.
If I order it from overseas it might get here sooner but it'll cost me mroe.
