While I smite you partially for underestimating Alias, I cannot argue with that particular aspect. The evil wife betrayal badly acted point was a sore point for me in Season Three and not only because it was so bloody predictable.
Up until that "revelation, gasp shock", the season was really good but upon solving Syd's memory loss (though I'm grateful it wasn't drawn out, perhaps why it was so good), I don't remember liking the rest terribly much.
On the other hand, I am harsh. Rewatching it might reveal certain intricacies.
Let's not exagerate. Smart you may be, just not smart enough to appreciate Alias, though I grant you Season 3 was poor compared to the others and I might add unless you've seen the first two seasons in full, Alias is missing all its charm.
Congratulations on catching the reference, not that it was subtle... ;)
We have different tastes, of course, so I'm not trying to convert you. Everyone can like what they like.

Actually I sorta suspected it was an Alias reference because it sounds like the kind of lame plot that show would have :-P~~~~

Ha. I don't watch Alias but I *did* catch the reference. At last! Proof I am SMRT!
