I am torn between saying "Yay, not just me!" and "Oh no! Stop being difficult, Nestra's story!" So maybe I'll say both? ;-)

I'm going to make Yuletide my only deadline-involving challenge from now on. One story, plenty of time, and lots of support from the community when I get flaily!

Aw, don't feel bad. I signed up for kink_bingo this year, and then promptly forgot how to write porn or something. All of my inspiration I had just died. I've written plenty in the last six weeks--but none of it would come even remotely close to qualifying for kink_bingo.

Besides, I'm sure whatever you're working on, it will be well worth the wait. :D

There really, really is. I really should know better than to sign up for these sorts of things, but I never seem to. :(

Oh, well. There's always next time, right? And exactly, some people just don't have the ability to write five 500-word stories in 2 months. *coughmecough* Honestly, it sounds pretty impossible.

btw, where have you been lately? I feel like I haven't talked to you in a really long time.

I've been around, sort of, but have been dealing with a lot of time-sucking RL stuff. Juggling several part-time work projects, mostly. When I have had fandom time, I spent it trying to write, but obviously that didn't work out as well as I'd hoped! LOL.

Five 100 word drabbles equals 500 words, more or less.

Well, that's the thing. I thought I could do that! But I'm just not happy writing a themed collection of drabbles and calling it a story. It just doesn't feel complete to me! LOL. Oh, well. I won't make the mistake of doing this kind of challenge again, I don't think.

One long story about 1/3 written, the rest just sort of outlined with a few random scenes done. But I'm glad I'm not alone!
