Yeah, I'm thinking I might stop watching now. I thought I would anyway after Ros' departure but even if I wasn't a complete RosOG I'd stop. There are no characters that grab me at all anymore and the plotlines are getting too gappy.
But wasn't it a brilliant exit for Ros? If it is an exit, naturally I'm in denial, but things do look grim.
And I love the new Home Sec. Am completely in love with him as of the instant the episode finished. lol.
The finale left me with very little to say for some reason, although I quite enjoyed it. I think I was in a brainless mood when I watched it and was able to dismiss seven series-worth of comparisons, which is mainly where this series has been falling down I think - and pretty much all tv series start to fall down after comparison with how long they've been running.
Anyway, I also agree with all of your points, especially baby!Home Sec and the fight between Ros and Sarah (I also loved Lucas' reluctance to shoot in that scene and Ros' disgust).

Now THAT would have been clever!
Lucas. Why did his IQ drop in half every time he was within 50 yards of Sarah?
THIS. Gacked in a blog quoted by the inestimable tigertrapped: "How many lightbulbs does it take Lucas to see he is being screwed?"
And Ros/Baby Home Sec: FTW!!! I want them to survive just to see them together!
