Patty/Ellen really isn't even *remotely* subtext anymore, is it? Nope. Patty totally broke up with Ellen. Ellen was almost dumped by her mother as a kid and now Patty. Wasn't a good day for Ellen.
It's all coming together, isn't it? I can't wait for next week too. Then . . . no more Tom. :-(
Do you have any idea where I might watch current season episodes? I checked the FX website; no dice there. I've fallen way behind, but am desperate to catch up. Great to hear this season is turning out to be a winner!
I *loved* this episode. One of the best, if not the best, so far. Everything came together really well--the inevitable crash-and-burn of Ellen's deception, Tom irrevocably stepping away from Patty, the fate of Tessa. I'm also really liking the movie subplot. I wasn't sure about it at first, but now I'm really enjoying the season 1 reenactment, as you put it. (But I really did not need to see the hooker-coke snorting scene again. One time was enough! LOL).

Yes, it was just a crescendo of terrible things, wasn't it?
The hooker-coke thing was really icky, but I kind of needed the visceral reminder of just how horrible Frobisher really is. He had been so funny throughout the rest of this season, I was almost being charmed!
