Frankly, with all the bullshit women have to put up with from men, I think men SHOULD pay, to make up for the bullshit!

Oh really? I guess the asshole who wrote this column forgot all about that pesky lil glass ceiling we haven't managed to eliminate, which prevents many women from earning as much as men.

Actually, there is another article ("The 50/50 Relationship") that states, based on census reports and other studies, that the glass celing is no more and that a lot of women in their 20-30s are making more than men in the workforce. Dunno much about that, but it sounds like something I'd like to research for myself. Its good to know what's fact and myth in present day.

That doesn't take into account working mothers, who are forced to take pay cuts and receive fewer promotions as punishment for taking maternity leave or requesting flexible hours in order to accommodate their family lives.
