For some reason.. call me crazy, but this whole 'not considering someone' because of religion thing seems somewhat akin to racism.. Well, just a thought.
Dont you just hate anonymous comments?!? Dont you wish if someone had something to say they would just put a name to their opinion?!? I mean honestly, take a stand for what you believe! Otherwise people will not take the comment seriously.
Ah, well I'm very sorry if my nameless comments somehow offended you, Chelsea. But still, that doesn't change what I have to say in the slightest. For some reason, this situation has stuck itself into my mind. It wouldn't have, I think, but I've seen it before. It just.. Well, correct me if I'm mistaken, but religion is not supposed to be a barrier to keep people apart, is it? I would think it should be a tool to bring people together, or give them hope. Jaydee, you've said that this 'Anthony' (since names are so important) is not a Christian, but is open to God. Does he have a religion? Do you even know? Christianity teaches people to be good to each other, does it not? But from what you have said, he seems like a fairly decent person. Of course, I can hardly comment, and I doubt I am very clear on the situation, but it seems.. unjust to judge someone on the basis of whether or not they put the same name to their beliefs as you do

I completely understand what you are saying and I dont disagree with you in the slightest. I just get frustrated when people dont leave a name attached to their comment. For all I knew you could have been Anthony, just trying to get Jaydee to change her mind.
I respect your opinion completely, but the reasons why I do not seek a serious relationship with a non Christian has absolutely nothing to do with racism. A person has no choice on what race they are born into, but everyone has a choice on what they believe. I know that someone who shares my beliefs will also uphold and share the same values and morals as I do. I also believe that a relationship isn't just for physical and social reasons; I believe a relationship is a spiritual bond in which you can grow and learn with someone who you have deep friendship with and affection for. How can I spiritually bond with someone who doesn't even believe in God? I don't let someone's religion dictate whether or not I am their friend, but I find that a relationship is a gift I want to share with someone who values relationships as I do, wishes to grow with me under God's guidance and will be accountable to God for their actions.

I absolutely LOVE Tyrel and Faye!! They are a couple of the funnest people you could ever meet! And both very good writers too. I'd still give Anthony a chance... he seems really nice, and I think that if you find someone half decent, you should go for it. Just my opinion...
