I though of that line the first time I shot a gun in 16 years, an Romanian knock off AK 47.
I though I was afraid of firearms, but I wasn't.
I was afraid of the decision that once I had made had immediate consequences.
I am no longer afraid, of anything.

I once got to fire an SKS assault rifle. ::Homer-Simpson-drool::
I'm afraid of long-term incarceration and torture. The latter of which I'll probably never have to deal with, the former I'll probably employ the services of that SKS before allowing to happen.
