Peppermint will eat your garden alive. Hope you planted it in a pot, otherwise, it'll take over your whole garden and will be impossible to get rid of.

Always a nice plant to have
... but unfortunately for me, I didn't know when I bought it that I would have to wait until AFTER my mission just to harvest any of it!
But I still like that plant... expectially the smell it leaves on your hands when you touch it.
