I actually got into Meiji U’s Summer Program (!) and they’ll be giving me a partial scholarship of sorts. And since one my hs friends is also studying in Japan right now, I agreed to meet up with her prior to the start of my program. So yeah, will be stalking the streets of Tokyo before I actually study.

I’m so freakin’ excited!

Honestly, I still can’t wrap my head around it. I’m super, super excited and a tiny bit worried - mostly because I’ll be off alone and will basically be, for the first 5 days, at least. I have never really travelled alone to another country... so yes. A first in Tokyo. :3 I have to rely on my rusty Japanese skills! And add to that the fact that I’m not exactly loaded, I do have to ensure that my meager budget/allowance will last me for 24 days. This will be Tokyo trip cheapo version. xD

On a s/n, Jin’s gonna release his new single while I’m still in Tokyo. SO PLEASE JE GODS HAVE HIM DO A LIVE EVENT OR SOMETHING!

Maybe I should actually be happy that KATTUN doesn’t have any summer con this year. (lol) I’ll probably be wanting to go (but OF COURSE!!) but urgh. FUNDS ARE LIMITED. I'll just tide myself over with any KATTUN/Kame stuff.  Haha, being a freelancer definitely has its perks and downsides. I own my time, I'm basically my own boss, but. Paycheck to paycheck existence. xD

Actually the first thing that popped into my head when I found out I got accepted was… I have to visit Tokyo National Library! Hahaha. Why? Well, it’s where Miaka supposedly found the Book of The Four Gods and got sucked into Tamahome’s world. That’s the closest I’ll probably be to meeting my childhood crush and forever anime love, the oni warrior, Tamahome-kun.



Sigh. This is the man of my dreams. Hahaha. xD

Anyway, back on to the Tokyo topic, I plan to open another blog that’ll chronicle my 24 days in Tokyo. It’s always been my dream - yes, for real! - to see and breathe Tokyo. Blame it on Sailormoon and all those crazy sentai shows I used to watch. xD

(And I still cannot freakin’ believe that dream is coming TRUE. <3 Here I come, Tokyo! :D)
