Fandom Dreams

I'm rarely the focus of my own dreams. Rather than the stereotypical "falling" dreams or the anxiety caused "OMG, I'm naked in the middle of class/on the job/in front of an audience", I most often dream in third person. that's it exactly!!! it's third person. I had wondered how to describe it and if it was normal.

I don't remember the exact percentages, but there were some studies a couple years ago that looked into the viewpoints of dreamers. It broke down something like this:

Always First-person: 40%
Mostly First, Sometimes Third: 30%
Mostly Third, Sometimes First: 20%
Always Third: less than 10%

The part I found really interesting was that the numbers were virtually the same whether the person was daydreaming or actually asleep.

see that's something I'm not really sure about perhaps I dream in color or maybe it's black and white but my mind doesn't think it's weird and makes it color. does that make any sense?
oh and you know those dreams where it's you but not like it looks nothing like you but it just feels like you? ya know? I think I'm in the 20 percentile range. so are you in the ten?

Or maybe you actually dream in B&W, but in remembering it, you translate it to color? That's something I've wondered about too. *L* I know I tend to add details after the fact upon wakening. Why not color too ( ... )
