Yeah, I should add that to the list as well. My commute is very short. 15 minutes. I can barely get my mind focused to start a podcast by the time I arrive at work. There are a bunch of podcasts I would like to listen too as well, its just there are so very few precious hours in the day.
Listen Boy, you IM me and run away all the time. :-) You have not done anything to cause me to ignore you. People that get to that status have really pissed me off. You're at the level of cute cuddly teddy bear. A far stretch from evil fuckoff bastard dick head from hell, the ones that get ignored. So, I have not been ignoring you. :-)

I know what you mean about vying for attention -- I get pulled in 50 different directions all the time and sometimes wonder if there is something called a "social" life out there for me? :P

Email and chat can be social activities. I consider LJ a very social activity. But if you are drowning in to much media and don't have time for humans, be it chat, email, IRL, etc., then the problem gets worse.
I think you just have to prioritize. I am careful about adding podcasts because I don't want to add more than I'm realistically going to have time to listen to. I've been reading a lot about time management lately, and a big part of it is avoiding being surrounded by unfinished stuff that causes you a little twinge of stress when you look at it.
