That is a fairly reasonable package of needs, wants and desires. You are an 18 year old budding artist with the whole world in front of him. There is every reason to expect that you will accomplish all of the above and more. The love of what you do and hard work is all you need. As far as that BF goes....you seem to be an absolute sweetie....if he is not in your life as we speak, I am confident that he is right around the corner. College alone will bring so many changes to your life...just be patient. I hope this provides you with a little warmth to soothe the chill of anxiety.

So a few months back, I was driving around with J, Mari, and I think Ali. Or rather, J was doing the driving because the rest of us legally can't. And he was blasting that song ("Somebody Told Me") on the whole ride to Mari's (where I proceeded to kick her and both of the boys' arses at Risk BWAHAHAHAHAHAH). Then we were driving around again. And he played it again. And it got stuck in my head. Then in our mistaken soujourn to The Upper Crust (...it was tres expensive. $25 on 3 desserts + tip that we split 5 ways) he played it. And on the night he saved me from babysitting he played it. And every damn time I get into that boy's car, that song is on. And then it get stuck in my head. And then I get it out, Mari sings it to piss me off, and it gets stuck in my head again. So yes. That song = cruel and unusual punishment.

Why do you feel this need to have a bf? I have seen your art, and read your journal, and you seem to be a very smart and mature guy. You should know then that whatever void your trying to fill by having a bf will never be filled, it will only ruin the relationship. Instead you should be spending time on your own and with good friends, getting to know yourself, and being comfortable with that person.
Its not really a need.. I just felt like that on new year's day. Im fine now :). Thanks for the compliments, youre making me blush.. But I am doing that, or trying to. I want to be more independent and not have a need or reliance for someone else to function(btw thats not me in the first place.. just an extreme case of what im trying to say lol).
