jonny quest rocks

we're getting a "preview" through the satellite provider of boomerang, a cartoon network channel. at 1:30 in the morning they show jonny quest. how cool is that? un-PC cartoon action rules! (and it's fun to think about jonny growing up to be eric stratton, rush chairman)

I SO want the boomerang network. There are tons of great cartoons (the good, old ones)!

there's also tons of crappy ones: fantastic four (from the 60s, i think), superfriends, pink panther, popeye, atom ant, jabberjaw... they seemed so cool when i was a kid, but they don't have any appeal to me as an adult. not like the classic looney toons that have several levels of humor.
although, i have carried one piece of the superfriends with me into adulthood: every time i buy a can of pop, after i put the quarters in i say, "wondertwin powers activate! shape of: a can of mountain dew. form of: a person about to drink a mountain dew." then i drink my twin sister. mmm...

I love the old Johnny Quest. Ever see the Venture Brothers? They are a take-off of The Quest.

I hate what they've done to current saturday morning GI Joe. They've made GI Joe anime! How could they?!?
