so Shell and i watched the dylan doc on PBS monday and tuesday. i have come to the following conclusions:

1. whenever dylan sings, it's the truth.
2. whenever dylan talks, lies lies lies.
3. joan baez reminds me of amber's mom.

I watched that at 4 am when I was up super-sick, late or early, your call. I'm up way to early this morning, as I'm going back to bed for the day. Good show.

"directed" by martin sorcese, no less. there's a companion "scrapbook" and another "offical bootleg" release. i don't have the cd yet. a result of the wife's employment status...

i have not read Chronicles yet. in literary terms, bob is what i would describe as an unreliable narrator. i love his music but i don't think i really want to know anything about him if it's not the whole story.

Mom reminds many people of Joan Baez.
Oddly enough they had the same hair-do through much of the 60's.
Fabulous doc, I too have been watching. Favorite moment..Bob and the man,Johnny Cash singing a little bit of 'I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry". I got all misty.
